Chemistry undergraduate student Andrew Kleinschmidt received the Firestone Medal for his undergraduate honors thesis. The award is given to the top 10% of all honors theses in the social, physical, and natural sciences. Mentored by chemistry graduate student Ben Naab, Andrew wrote his thesis on the "Synthesis and Characterization of Solubilized C60 Fullerenes for Solution-Stable N-type Doping."
